Titleist TSR3 Driver Review: Performance, Settings, and Who Should Use It
Titleist TSR3 Driver Review – If you’re and amateur golfer with driver b/s of 110mph plus, and serious about improving your driving performance, the Titleist TSR3 driver is one of the most talked-about options among better players. But is it really worth it? And more importantly—is it right for you? As an Amateur Golfer? I firstly love the shiny look, the amazing sound it creates when hit on the center of the sweet spot, and most importantly – love the brand that we can all trust, Titleist!
Titleist TSR3 Driver Review, here we go! Honest feedback from 100% self taught amateur golfer!
In this review, I’ll break down the performance, adjustability, and who should actually consider using the TSR3.
🔍 Overview: What is the Titleist TSR3 Driver?
The TSR3 is designed for golfers who consistently strike the ball near the center of the face and want precise control over ball flight. Unlike more forgiving drivers, the TSR3 focuses on workability, speed, and fine-tuned adjustability.
🚀 Performance Review
Ball Speed & Distance
The TSR3 offers excellent ball speed, especially on center strikes. Compared to previous models, it feels more explosive while maintaining a very solid, controlled feel.
- Fast off the face
- Low spin characteristics
- Consistent distance for solid ball strikers
One thing I want to highlight is the ball flight. Because I am using a 8 degrees TSR3, If you are a golfer who can not send the ball up in the flight, it will be hard to hit enough distance with this driver. You must learn how to send the ball up in the air first, in order to enjoy the maximum performance of this beautiful driver. Best of luck everyone!
Forgiveness
This is not the most forgiving driver. Off-center hits will lose more distance compared to models like TSR2.
However, if you’re a consistent striker, the trade-off is worth it.
I personally think this is the mos well-made and steady seller driver from Titleist.
Feel & Sound
One of the standout features is the feel—clean, solid, and very “Titleist-like.” The sound is slightly muted but powerful.
⚙️ Adjustability & Settings
The TSR3 features a SureFit CG Track System, allowing you to adjust the center of gravity for more precise shot shaping.
Key Settings:
- Move weight toward the heel → promotes draw
- Move weight toward the toe → promotes fade
- Center position → neutral ball flight
You can also adjust loft and lie using the SureFit Hosel, giving you even more control over launch conditions.
🎯 Who Should Use the TSR3?
This driver is best suited for:
✔ Low to mid handicap golfers
✔ Players with consistent center contact
✔ Golfers who want to shape shots
✔ Those who prefer control over maximum forgiveness
You may want to consider other models if:
✘ You struggle with consistency
✘ You need maximum forgiveness
✘ You are a beginner or high handicap player
🤔 Final Thoughts
The Titleist TSR3 is not for everyone—and that’s exactly the point.
It’s a precision tool designed for golfers who already have a solid swing and want to fine-tune their performance. If that sounds like you, this driver can be a serious weapon off the tee.
For amateurs like us, the key question isn’t “Is this club good?”
It’s “Is this club right for my game?”
💬 My Take (CrazyGolfLab)
Golf can be confusing—especially when every “expert” says something different.
From my perspective as a self-taught golfer, the TSR3 is a club that rewards understanding your swing. If you’re still searching for consistency, focus there first. But if you’re ready to dial things in, this driver is worth a serious look.
Let’s keep learning, experimenting, and enjoying the game.
